Analysis stays in your browser.
StackReveal analyzes browser-visible technology signals locally in Chrome when you request a scan. Page content, URLs, detected technologies, reports, and browsing activity are not sent to Ataraxy Developers or an external server by the extension.
The extension does not read cookies or form values, intentionally collect personal information for the publisher, sell browsing activity, include analytics, or require an account.
Your results, under your control.
Scan results remain in popup memory until you clear them or close the popup. StackReveal uses no Chrome storage and saves no preferences or persistent scan history.
Clicking Copy Report writes the website domain and detected technologies to your clipboard. You choose where to paste the report. Clipboard behavior managed by your operating system or other applications is outside the extension’s control.
Access only for the scan you request.
StackReveal requests two Chrome permissions to perform its single purpose:
No permanent website access, cookies, browsing history, or network interception permissions are requested. You can remove the extension through Chrome’s extension controls.
Website and external links.
Clicking a website or support link opens the destination in your browser or email client. Visiting the publisher website, Chrome Web Store, or another external service is subject to that service’s own policies.
This policy describes the StackReveal extension. Website cookies or measurement tools are separate from the extension and do not receive its scan results.
Privacy should be clear.
For questions about this policy or StackReveal’s data practices, contact Ataraxy Developers. We will update this policy if those practices change.
